Additional Downloads

For using all of Accessilogue’s functions, you will need to download the open dyslexia font from the link below. Due to Epic’s marketplace guidelines we are not allowed to include it with the project, but it is completely free and by far the best one out there, so we definitely recommend you check it out.

Best Practises

No data should ever be edited inside Unreal. To utilise the advantages of Accessilogue to their fullest, we advise employing the single-source-of truth approach by only editing the source csv file in your spreadsheet editing suite (such as Excel, Google Sheets, or LibreOffice Calc).

Using The Dialogue Table

A Dialogue table holds all the lines that the system can play/load and their variants. These lines are each assigned an ID and an index which are used to structure them into conversations (groups of lines that will play in a set order). The system can then load these conversations into a queue and play through each line in a conversation sequentially - unless interrupted or all lines are played. Accessilogue then moves onto the next conversation in the queue.
